Marshmallow Update | Wait is over for Motorola Moto G2 users from India!

Motorola did what they do the best! Motorola's Moto G2 finally started receiving Marshmallow (Android 6.0) update Over The Air (OTA). During launch of the device, Moto G2, last year, they promised that Moto G2 will receive Marshmallow update till the end of the year 2015. However, it took some time for them to finalize this update version for Moto G2 phones, it is now officially available and you can download it using system updates (procedure is given below).

Moto G2 India users started receiving Marshmallow update since this morning (Feb 10).

Motorola rolled out some soak tests in the month of January to test for the errors and improvements to the final version before its launch.

However, this will be the last update for the Moto G2 phones as there is no final confirmation from the manufacturer's side about keeping the phone in the updates list.
